RESTAURANT MANAGER

DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED:

  • Research new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices;
  • Calculate future needs for kitchen utensils and bar equipment and place orders if necessary;
  • Manage and file vendor contracts and invoices;
  • Organize and communicate shift schedules to staff;
  • Contribute as necessary, working with the office in charge, to the processing of restaurant staff payrolls;
  • Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues;
  • Organize proper on-bording of new incoming profiles by planning training courses and provision of uniform-if any;
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations;
  • Gather feedback from the facility’s guests – and others – in order to improve the menu proposal.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Of excellence, performance, regularity and speed of service;

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferably aged 18-55 years;
  • Possession of an educational qualification equivalent to or higher than High School Diploma;
  • Prior experience in the role of at least 3 years or similar role in the hospitality industry;
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and PeachWorks;
  • Good math and reporting skills;
  • Possess a good command of the English language;
  • Be flexible about working hours by remaining available to cover shifts as needed.
